[glow=BLUE,8,300]BEFORE YOU START : BACKUP EVERYTHING ![/glow]copy your entire SA install & paste it to a read only file.
you have the option to use a GMM ( game mod manager ) i DO NOT recommend this. they are buggy & will frustrate you to no end. so...here are the basics to do manual installs of vehicle mods. now, if all you plan to do is use mods built by someone else, you only need ONE tool. it's called IMGTool & can be downloaded here..... www.gtagaming.com/downloads/gta-san-andreas/tools/1105then open [rockstar games\gta san andreas\models] open "GTA3.IMG" & "find" the model you want to replace. ( for this example, use the supplied download for "andromeda" )[glow=red,2,300]Lockheed C5M Super Galaxy[/glow] www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=comments&cat=234&start=0&id=36583&orderBy=all you have to do here is replace "andromeda.dff" & "andromeda.txd" with the .dff & .txd supplied in the download. then, use "rebuild archive" command. simple. now you have a high detail andromeda, with open cargo bay. replacing cars & map parts are slightly more involved, dont worry about that yet. if you can handle simple dff & txd replacement, you're in good shape.
